...but it's working. I got up at the unthinkable hour of 5:30 am to go meet Adam (aka bringer of pain) for a 6 am training session. Made it out the door twice on time (had to run back in for my food diary) and was waiting there when he showed up. I had eaten an apple in the car on the way there, as instructed, and was praying I would still have said apple in my digestive system when the hour was up.
The session started off well, had a fairly good critique of my eating (just need more protein), and he weighed me in to see what the retention was. I weighed in 2.5 lbs lighter than Thursday evening! He said counting the retention through the day I've likely lost a pound, but we'd verify on Thursday when I meet with him in the evening.
We had the session and I felt great! Worlds apart from what I felt like on Saturday. It's so nice to see progress! We'll have to see how this affects my running tomorrow morning.
