Product Review: Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair

My first product review! I'm constantly stuck in the grocery aisles staring at the bazillion and one options staring at me. I thought I'd try to help others by reviewing products that I've tried.

Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair: B+

London is hairy...enough said. And spring is synonymous with shedding in our house, lots of little white and gray tufts of hair floating through air. I typically use sticky rollers to keep it under control, but I thought I'd give the new roller by Pledge a try.

Packaging: The box opened very easily, and the roller pulled out, ready-to-use.

Ease of Use: It was a lot easier to use then a sticky roller. Short, back and forth strokes, a nice grip, and no need to stop and rip off the filled sheet.

Overall Performance: It wasn't extraordinary. It did do a good job picking up the larger clumps, but left some of the finer single hairs behind. Perhaps I was naive when I bought it, but I didn't realize it was a disposable. I think I would have preferred if it had a simple pop-off canister and was reusable. The rollers did clog a bit, but the performance wasn't diminished. The fact that I didn't have to deal with ripping off sheets of paper constantly was its greatest asset.

Will I Buy Again?: I'll have to wait and see how long it lasts. The disposable asset is a deterrent, but the ease of use is alluring.
