New Site in the Works! Poll Time!
This is exciting, I am currently working on expanding. I am blowing out the walls of this blog and moving on up to my own domain. I finally chose a name and now I'm working on the decor. Which is where I need your help. I've created a banner, and while I like it for the most part, I feel like it could be much better. To be fair, I am my own worst critic, so I thought it wise to get some of your opinions. Click on it to see it in a larger size.

The grey thing on the right just looks like a blob... I'm still not sure what it is :/ is it Juliet lying on the ground? I would actually take the roses and move them all the way to the right edge and maybe repeat them along the left edge. Or see how it'd look with roses along the bottom (probably smaller than they currently are)
It is Juliet "sleeping". It is plainly visible when it's normal banner size. The roses are my sticking point as well. I'll be experimenting with a few other designs.
I like the roses (of course) and I was able to make out Juliet's eyes after a while, then it made sense and was very very pretty. Could you alter the image to daren her facial features?
what if you moved the roses all the way to the left? and made 'juliet' in the same shading that the writing is in? that way she'd blend in more and not pop out as much.
on a side note i think you should make the name of your blog on word play of your name...brie. brie's way of life or something like that. just my opinion. good luck!!!
